We are looking for a team of mobile detailing trainees to help clean cars! You will be trained to assist on mobile detailing jobs to ensure vehicles are deep cleaned inside and out. The goal is to get you trained up until you're skilled enough to complete jobs independently or part of a team. This is a great opportunity for a student, freelancer, or anyone looking to make extra income on a part time basis. As your work improves, and you show a thorough understanding of what is expected; your will have an opportunity to take on additional work.

Job Duties:

​

You will assist with detailing vehicles as needed. Work includes, but is not limited to the below:​

​

• Assist with navigation to and from job site

• Checking in customer 

• Setting up equipment

• Vacuum vehicles thoroughly

• Clean the nook and crannies of the vehicle

• Deep clean carpets seats, and mats. 

• Shine leather and vinyl surfaces

• Hand wash & dry exterior

• Decontaminate paint

• Clean & polish wheels

• Polish & wax exterior paint

Requirements​​

• Reliable transportation to meet in Albany/Colonie, NY by 8:00AM; or live within Albany/Colonie to be picked up and dropped off.

• Comfortable traveling to job sites - Most jobs are within 1 hour of Albany, NY.

• This job requires consistent bending and light lifting

• You must be physically able to work outdoors for a minimum of a few hours. You will be exposed to the elements (eg. cold, sun, heat, bugs).

• You must have an eye for detail. You will need to remove dirt and grime in small spaces and crevices, stains on the seats, and defects on the vehicle's paint.

• Professionalism & respect for other's property. We work on private residential or commercial business property. Civility is expected when working

• Be comfortable around animals. Many customers have curious pets that may approach when working. 

• Positive Attitude 

• Punctuality

• Computer literacy and efficient with email communication

• General knowledge and appreciation for cars​

Additional Information

​

*Please note: This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. There are no guarantee of hours. You will be offered job assignments as they become available, and you will have the option to accept them.

​

Work Schedule: You can choose which days you are available to work, but you must be available from 8:30AM-1:00PM; Monday-Saturday. Days will vary. 

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr + tips

Pay Schedule: Fridays; weekly, via bank transfer or mailed check

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Typical Day

1. You will meet Albany/Colonie by 8:00AM. If you live within a reasonable distance; we can arrange pickup from your home or another predetermined location.

2. We will drive to the job location. You will assist with navigation as needed.

3. Upon arrival, you will  set up equipment. 

4. You will then clean the vehicle as instructed.

5. After completion, you will be driven back to Albany/Colonie.

At this interview you will get more information about the position, and we'll answer any questions you have. If both sides are interested you will be invited to meet for paid training. After training is completed; you will begin to receive offers to help on upcoming jobs. You can pick and choose which jobs you want to help with based on your schedule.
